At Weber Institute, we understand that cell phones can be useful tools for communication and learning. However, we also recognize the disruptions they cause in the learning environment. Therefore, we have established the following cell phone policy to ensure a productive and focused educational atmosphere:

Permitted Usage

• Cell phones & earbuds/earphones may be used before the start of the school day, during breaks, and after school hours.
• Cell phones & earbuds/earphones may be used during class ONLY for educational purposes with the explicit permission of the teacher.

Consequences for Using Cell Phones During Class:

• Step One - Warning
• Step Two - Confiscate cell phone/earphones until the end of the period
• Step Three - Confiscation of phone/earphones until the end of the day
• Step Four - Parent pick-up and meeting

Please note that the consequences listed above are designed to be progressive, promoting responsible cell phone usage and a positive learning environment. We appreciate the cooperation of all students, parents, and staff in adhering to this cell phone policy to ensure a successful educational experience for everyone.

En Weber Institute, entendemos que los teléfonos celulares pueden ser herramientas útiles para la comunicación y el aprendizaje. Sin embargo, también reconocemos las interrupciones que causan en el entorno de aprendizaje. Uso Permitido

Consecuencias por usar teléfonos celulares durante la clase

• Paso Uno - Advertencia
• Paso Dos - Confiscar teléfono celular/audifonos hasta el final del período
• Paso Tres - Confiscación de teléfono/audifonos hasta el final del día escolar
• Paso Cuatro - Padres recogen dispositivos y junta con el personal
